ART ALL DAY! The Long Art Party

Service Description

This is a whole day Art making program. A lunch of up to two hotdogs per student, a juice box, and healthy snacks throughout the day are included in the cost. Protective clothing is supplied as well as drinking water. There's no need to provide anything! Primary Colours is a fully stocked and functional Art studio. Bathroom and kitchen facilities are on site and there is a plumbed water trough dedicated to art mess. First Aid is on site and Andrew is a fully qualified, registered, and practicing teacher. The day usually consists of: 9am-12pm: morning session - Art games and activities. A snack and a short break 12-1pm: lunch - included in the cost if selected - and a longer break which may, or may not, include watching a short film or appropriate TV shows 1-4pm: afternoon session - more Art games and activities. A snack and a short break. THE LONG ART PARTY This whole day Art session is essentially a lot of the activities we run at the Art Parties in one day. It's almost like three Art Parties in one day! However, the pace will be a bit slower to allow the kids to relax between activities and to provide time to set up. During these down times the students will be encouraged to do quiet activities such as drawing, playing with toys in The Chill Zone, or reading. Some of the more popular party activities we will engage in are: - Decorate a Cake - Snow Globes - Drawing games including Dice Monsters, Start with a Shape, and Around the World - Boxtown - Badge making - Cardboard collage masks ...plus much more! There will also be times when books are read to the kids to help provide inspiration for the next activity.
